I wish I could say I'm good, but I'm not...

Overall, things are ok on other levels, but I've had to miss a lot of work the last couple of days due to illness. I'm not sure exactly what I have, I just know it's rather... unpleasant. I don't run a fever, at least I don't think I am anyway. But I'm fatigued all the time, sneezing, coughing, upset stomach, yesterday was the weirdest things of all - a tingly burning sensation, every where. Fortunately, that's gone, but I spent most of my morning starting at 2 am puking my guts out (should say 12am since that's when the feeling took over me but didn't actually happen until later). Something unusual for me - since I have one of those stomachs that likes to make me feel disgusting, but usually never gives into the inclination that knows will make me feel better. Then because I want to have some type of paycheck, I go to work today. Felt horrible the whole day, then came home and collapsed downstairs here on the couch.

My excuse for coming to work was because I wanted to infect my boss with whatever my "bug" is, but didn't really. Just got the idea in my head when she started being a bit of a bitch about stuff. But then she wasn't feeling good either, so that's probably the reason. Worst part is, if she does get sick with what I have, I'll feel bad. What is it with people trying to push dairy products on you when your stomach is upset? Weird people.

In good news, I had ordered 3 rings that came in today. The first one was intentional - an onyx ring. I have a couple of other onyx stuff, just never any rings.

The next was a tigereye ring. I've always been infatuated with this stone.

Last of all a jade ring. Just because I always wanted something jade. Not going to care if this is real or not. :P

I do have to wonder sometimes what goes through people's minds. Just people seem to be doing a lot of stuff lately that is... stupid. Oh well... typical of the world. All kids should be raised in Delaware... for some reason people in that state seem to have more IQ points.

Started the new story. Now to wonder if I'll continue it. Those in the unedited story filter, prepare to be spammed. Need help with something in it. Just need flower names. :P You don't have to describe them, most likely I'll know what you mean... just my diseased mind is blank right when coming up with stuff. But for which ones I don't know, there's always google.

People on my AIM: Please do not be offended if you find yourself blocked until I get better. Right now I really think only a few people should talk to me live right now.

The dairy products for upset stomachs thing is because milk is thick and coats the inside of your stomach to protect it from acid irritation, which is basically the same effect as stuff like Mylanta and Pepto Bismol and whatever else is out there. Not so much recommended when that upset stomach is actually a flu bug though, since it's heavy and contains lots of fats and stuff. I know all this because my former EMT of a father has driven it into me over and over since I started getting ulcer attacks. >>

But I hope you feel better soon. Whatever it is I know it's not fun. *pets* Don't hesitate to see a doctor early in the week if it doesn't pass... they're not fun, but it beats continuing to feel horrible for longer than necessary.

For a minute there I was preparing to see a doctor. Just glad it cleared up finally.

Though anytime I had issues with this, doctors always said to stay away from dairy or "dark" drinks, products etc. So yeah... I trust your dad more too. :P

I hope you're completely over your thing.

Take care of yourself, sis...or at least try to...

And don't feel too bad about what you wanted to do to your boss...I've tried that form of biological warfare myself from time to time, although I don't think I ever got it to work.

Gonna be sending you an e-mail soon with all sorts of updates, as I've been a bit derelict in that department lately.

So, I seen - lots going on with you. You're in my thoughts.

And it actually did work. She came in sick as a dog a couple days later. >.o

I hope you start to feel better. Sickness is always a pain, but yours sounds beyond horrid. So I'll wish you good health for this new year.

It was very... different. Can't say I've had a sickness like that before. I hope you're well too.

I hope you feel better soon! I know someone who always gets tingly/numb hands right before he comes down with food poisoning, perhaps that's what you have.

Thanks! The thought actually did occur to me. But not sure what could have given it to me. I'm just chucking it up to "weird ailment of the year".

Sounds like an awful bug you have there. I hope you feel better soon and that you are taking care of yourself.

BTW...I don't think I'm on your story filter. Would you mind adding me? I've always enjoyed reading your work. ^__^

It was pretty miserable. Somewhat better now. Still tire easily.

Added you to it. I'll also be making another one with ones that include fanfiction and stuff. This one is mainly for unedited more adult-ish stories, the other one will be for everything. Let me know if you want in that one.

Hang in there!

Thanks. ^__^ I'd love to read your fanfiction. Is it mainly j-rock or do you write anime fics as well? Just curious.

I actually don't really write jrock ones. I write anime, musical and game fics. fanfic_library actually is where I've been putting all the published ones. Lately, I've been doing Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children ones. But hopefully people who never seen or played it can get into them too.

Oh, ok. I'm not too big of a j-rock fic reader anyways. Thanks for the journal link, I'll check it out soon. You know, I've heard so many great things about Final Fantasy but I've never actually seen/played it myself. I can safely say I'll be one of those "outsider" readers to you FF fics then. ^__^;
